Don’t ask what happened here- what kind of knife is/was that?

The damaged person very much liked the curved nature of it for cutting stuff like herbs but I have a hard time finding something similar to this

The shape and size leads me to think cheese knife.

Just make a new handle, the blade should be good (probably a bit softer if you ran the oven really hot, but nothing critical)

Looks like the knife was roasted at 350 or 400 degrees. I accidentally did that to a paring knife. Forgot it on a pan and threw it in the oven.

Looking up “curved cleaver” brings up a lot of similar knives. Something like [this](https://thehuntingtools.com/product/hobby-hut-hh-328-custom-handmade-cleaver-1095-carbon-steel-hunting-knife-with-sheath-fixed-blade-knife-pakka-wood-handle-for-hunting-and-camping/) maybe?

But I agree, just find someone to make the handle for you. Its not gonna be too hard.

EDIT: LOL, the knife from [this article](https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/14-year-old-arrested-after-2299011) looks like the exact knife in your pic. I’ll try looking it up.

EDIT 2: Its a meat cleaver from the Titanium Professional knife set. Here’s an [Ebay listing](https://www.ebay.com/itm/334515960295) with pics of what it looks like. And an [Amazon link](https://www.amazon.com/Titanium-Pro-14-pc-Professional-Chef/dp/B001CR98Y4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_pdt_img_top?ie=UTF8) that is out of stock unfortunately.

The blade is still intact, so it’s definitely not a CRKT.

Either a toe knife or a kitchen knife of sorts…

Given its condition and method of destruction, I’m going with toe knife

Maybe you should stick to stainless handle kitchen knives

I microwaved an iPad when I was a wee bit inebriated. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.
