I am amazed at the quality of this little blade.

One great thing about Opinel knives is how affordable they are.

I’ve got 3 or 4 and want to get more. I have them in the pocket of the driver side door of both of my vehicles.

I want enough to have one in the pocket of every coat I own.

One great thing about the affordability is that they can be on birthday and Christmas wish lists. They are an inexpensive, but highly appreciated gift.

Be careful! The blades rust super easy and there’s only a little bit of wood holding that blade on so they aren’t good for harder cuts. It’s a cheap and very old design from France.

My fave bit about these is how cheap they are , and so how fun they are to mod

You can never go wrong with an opinel number 8. It’s 85% of what most people would ever need day to day. I have one with the laminate brown and red handles. Beautiful, ergonomic and super slicey.

  6. Yeah they’re definitely sharp, the blade stock is nice and thin.

Mais bien sûr frérot opinel c’est la base. J’en ai eu toute ma jeunesse pour aller camper.
