I like me an flashlight recently started to love em.
I don’t see portable charger or charging block in there. You don’t need one of those?
I would add a small flashlight. It is surprising how much I end up using it when I have one on me.
It even works great when the lights are on for finding contacts or earring backings that have fallen on the ground.
Not sure if it’s worth upgrading for you, but I personally really enjoy my AirPods Pro. They are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth every penny. Real ear tips plus noise canceling and pass through make them perfect. I couldn’t live without them.
i would add some kind of multitool. doesn’t have to be big and bulky, but i found that adding something like a leatherman ps4 or a victorinox minichamp to your keys adds tremedous versatility to a edc.
A reliable pistol.

Get rid of the notebook, you have a perfectly good phone and it’s a lot of weight and size saved. Get a flashlight, you’ll find yourself using it so much.
Add a blaster
Airpod Pros and a Lynch clip on the Bugout.

I see field notes in everyone’s carry + a phone which has a notepad. I’m always curious how many of these notepads actually get used.
The wallet
Smaller wallet, a little multitool (eg the Leatherman Style PS is barely noticeable when carrying) and a flashlight.
I’d lose the AirPods. A $30 Bluetooth amp and $50 wired earphones will sound MUCH better than they do (let alone an actually good set of earphones) and will go multiple times longer between charges. Despite this, the total size of earphones plus amp will generally be smaller than AirPods with their case.
You can’t beat physics. A good DAC requires space for analog components. It requires processing power which means a larger battery. Meanwhile, good sound in a small package requires multiple drivers (speakers) per ear.
All of this is at odds with the fundamental design of AirPods. They use one garbage driver. They use tiny batteries which means they don’t have the horsepower to process well with w even worse battery life than they already have. They don’t have space, so their analog components are separated and don’t interfere.

I would remove all the things you carry every day and replace them with the things that I carry every day
Carry a knife, Bring a hanky. Deep wounds get a tunicate until you can take care of it proper. Don’t stab your thigh though unless you got a big damn hanky

You need to be carrying at least 6 more knives, 3 pry bars, and four “combat beads” to be taken seriously in this subreddit. All of those things are vital to live your day to day life.

But for real, EDC is personal. If you aren’t missing anything, don’t add anything. If you aren’t carrying too much, don’t drop anything.
