In fact, as a first blade it’s a pretty great steel for two reasons:1: you probably won’t break it unless you use your knife as a pry bar/screw driver (and if you do, it was a $20 knife anyway).2: it’s quick to sharpen it, and you will sharpen it often, so you will learn how to sharpen.
