I wanted one exactly like that so bad as a teen. I recently found out they had a plain edge version, and it’s beautiful. I’m glad I couldn’t afford it back then because I’m sure the tip would’ve lodged in my eye as I broke it doing something completely stupid. 😅

Came to say, don’t forget the Spyderco Matriarch, a smaller version of the Civilian.
I remember hearing on a knife podcast that some older knifemaker was driving around with Sal Glesser somewhere when they were accosted by some random dude, when Sal whips out his Civilian, snaps it open, and yells “Wanna get Civilized?!” and the dude backed off lickety-split. Who wouldn’t?!
