I really like this type of carry. A jack of all trades, master of none setup. Many people seem to get caught up in gear acquisition determined to find the best single item that fits every basic function one would expect from a good kit. They spend thousands on gear and go to the grocery store looking like they’re going to Darfur. Meanwhile they’ll get no more done in any given day than a person can with a cheap and dependable Victorinox and a $15 prybar.
One can never be ready for anything, and being ready for most things doesn’t require having the best of everything. At some point, it just becomes consumption for its own sake.

I love having a small backup pen like that. It is not for everyday use, but comes in handy when you have nothing else. The light is not so great. Victorinox really needs to upgrade that.
