I believe that you can harden the edge by hammering it.
It might take a better edge after that.
Copper is pretty soft, and it won’t really take or keep an edge as well as a steel blade. You can try putting it against sharpening stones, but it might just be as good as it’s going to get
File it on the prison floor?
Copper and bronze blades are sharpened by peening. There are some videos on youtube but search is being particularly unhelpful at the moment.

Take a small hammer and carfully beet a thin edge this will make it thinner and work harden it if you have an anvil or vice with one use that if not find a large flat rock

Toe knife. As you pick out the dirt and sand that gets stuck under your toe nails it will sharpen the knife.

This knife looks like a child’s drawing of a knife.
You may not be getting any helpful answers here because it’s unclear if you’re serious on trying to improve this particular knife. Sharpening involves removing material at an edge to create a beveled wedge shape. There doesn’t look to be much blade left to remove. Your lack of awareness of the materials makes it hard to give real advice. Copper is a very soft metal and if this knife is made of copper it should not hold any edge well and should be replaced with any knife purchased at a gas station for a more useful tool.
