I bought a box of clothes from a garage sale and in one of the pants pocket I found this… as a knife dude I was hyped but scared it might be a fake what do you guys think? I’ve never had a pm2 before lol.

Looks real to me. Spyderco makes really inexpensive stuff I don’t think there be any money in making a fake.
I’m no expert on the subject, but here’s what I’ve read online. The real ones have a noticeable space between the words “Golden, <space> Colorado” and “USA, <space> Earth”, and based on your photo, yours looks more like the real thing. BTW, I have a friend who owns a fake PM2 that he bought cheap knowing it was a fake, and it doesn’t have the proper spacing, so there might be something to what I’ve read online.
another clue is if you have any other S30V knives and sharpen your own knives, compare them to the PM2 with regards to feel on the sharpening stones and the resulting edge, the fake steel won’t take as good an edge as the real thing.
Directly comparing to the 4 I have rn and using the experience I have had having many pm2 variations in my hands. This strikes me as the real deal.
