I own a few knives in S30V and it is by far my favorite steel for combination of edge retention and ease of sharpening. Do you have a better steel that i should try? I’m always amazed by this knife. Yesterday I used it to process an entire big game animal, briefly touching it up 2 times. I looked at the edge the next morning and thought “how am I ever going to recover this?” But in one minute it was back to shaving sharp and perfect.
