I found the FireflyLite T1R on the FFL-Outdoor website for $52.50 (US):

[FireflyLite T1R EDC Thrower – Fireflylite outdoor (firefly-outdoor.com)](https://www.firefly-outdoor.com/products/fireflylite-t1r-edc-thrower)

I noted that the description says “Buy it now, Send the 21700 extension body for free\*\*” AND “1x Fireflylite 2000mAh 10 A 22430 (Inlucded) or 5000mAh 10A 21700 (Optional)”.

Since I have limited experience and few flashlights, I didn’t want to stray outside flashlights powered by something other than 18650’s or 21700s. So… I reached out to sales @ FFL-Outdoor and although I’ve received polite and quick responses, I’ve been told that getting the extension and the 21700 battery would be an additional $15! (later reduced to $10.50)

I’m bothered by the additional $$ ask, especially since it appears/I thought that the alternative body and battery were no-cost alternatives.

Granted, I don’t have much experience with Chinese English, nor with direct overseas ordering, but wondered what the collective commentary would be about my interpretations and the additional $$ requested.

Thank you.
