Obviously the spyderco has better steel, it costs like four times as much. So that aside, what else make these knives special?

    They para 3 is much easier to use with gloves on. I have never held the elementum but it doesn’t look easy to open or close with gloves on due to the flipper tab and liner lock. The Spyder hole is great for opening with gloves due to size. The compression lock is also quite a bit stronger and easier to manipulate.

    If the choice is between PM3 and Elementum Button lock, ill go with elementum. But for the flipper elementum, ill go with PM3

    PM3 by all means. Better everything. Feel overall and easy of use. Actually sold my elementum as I just didn’t like it. Maybe w the button lock version I’d kept it around. Love the pm3 through and through tho

    Para3 ends up on many Best Knife lists. Elementum ends up on many Best Budget Knives lists. I love the Elementum, but the Para3 comes with a long history of being the right knife
