Based on your collection, I’d recommend:

    1. Spyderco Yojimbo/Yojumbo. You’ll like either. I’m partial to the Jimbo action, but the jumbo blade length. Both are slicy as hell with a delicate tip.

    2. ZT 0452 or 0562 in whatever you can get it in. 4”, sharp, great ergos, figety, and strong.

    3. Cold steel 4 max, AD10 or AD15. Avoid the lite versions. Super sharp, large, and strong.

    Enjoy!

A Paragon Warlock if it’s legal in your state

I have a full size Spyderco street beat bowie that you need lol

  4. Flyawaytuna_

Something super cheap and dumb just because it would be funny mixed in with these nice things

If you’re thinking about new knives for your collection, maybe throw in a Sebenza by Chris Reeves. Consider spicing it up with a couple of high-end ones like the Lamia and the Rosie. These guys bring in that classy “gentleman” look without going all tactical on you. They give off a different vibe compared to the more aggressive options out there. And for an everyday, low-key carry, think about slipping a GEC knife into your coin pocket – just practical and easy, you know?

Classic handmade Italian Stiletto (automatic if legal in your state) like a Frank B. The all black tactical Teflon coated one would look good with this collection.

USMC ka bar would pair nicely with the buck knife and trench knife. Or an original SOG knife (the OG fixed blade Vietnam style).

The SOG SEAL XR folder is 100% American made and S35VN. It’s made to rival the benchmade Adamas and is a straight up workhorse of a knife. I personally went with the SOG straight edge clip point and can see it being my EDC for a long time.

Maybe you could throw a butterfly knife or a paratrooper style gravity in with those fighting knives as well? Always check the laws tho.

HK branded knives used to be sick looking if they are still around. I think they were actually Hogue or Benchmades. Can’t remember, they were just stamped with the HK logo.

A micro tech OTF (like the Seal Scarab) etc. Would also look nice if you have deeper pockets than me, lol.

Protect also makes some classier autos to consider.

Spartan blades used to make a folder with carbon fiber or G19 scales and an all titanium handle. Extremely durable and I want to say S30V blade if you’re into that.

Forgeworks asylum and/or oberon. Next level handmade knives

Buy a real knife already, guy. My favorite knife is the Yaxell Dragon 9″ Santoku Clever with a rounded top edge. 63 HRC, damn great knife.

Great collection of exciting pieces. Very well done! Looks like around a $350 average price tag. Maybe you could look to stretch it a little for some more exciting knives. I’m going to suggest an exciting WE, Reate, or Rike knife. Something like the Reate JACK 2.0, Rike Thor 6 or Alien 4, WE Sugga, ForeverSteel Megrez, and definitely any of Elijah Isham designs. Maybe Pre-Order the new Kombou collaboration. Let me know if you like any of my suggestions…

I would suggest anything that is a real knife that won’t break after the first use like most of those will. Anything made by Tops Knives or White River will give you 1 knife to start your collection.

  12. Drunk0ctopus

K-bar, or an Ontario. Get rid of those Walmart specials.

Human interaction. Some pussy. A gun. Anything but another knife. You’re good my boy.

Whatever brings you joy. In my experience, you can find a dud in any brand (including high dollar designer knives), and you can find a gem in mass-produced budget knives as well. Focus on what interests you, what you think is cool and fun, or useful for your life. You likely wouldn’t buy a car based on what others like without putting some thought into what you love.

Do some research, go to a local knife store and handle some knives, and make your move based on what makes you smile and gives you that feeling when you hold/use it.

Maybe throw some titanium in the mix? CJRB has some really cool stuff out recently in s90v that’s not crazy expensive.

Something hand forged not made in a factory.
