Is this F. Herder pocket knife realy from 1895? It has the crossed keys. Sorry about the picture quality, not my pics.

- F style Hunter with ADS damascus blade and matching bolsters. Mammoth ivory for scales. Ti screws and a cool pivot pin. The sheath is tooled leather with a very soft pig skin lining. OAL is 9 inches and the blade is 4 1/8

it sure looks like it, but i’m not sure about it being actually made then, stainless steel was invented in 1913 and that knife looks to be in way too good of a condition.
unless i’m missing something, maybe nickel coating, but i doubt that would be on a knife from 1895. Feel free to correct me if i’m wrong.
