I inherited a knife

As you can figure out from title I inherited a sword or a dagger which fits more.

This was given to him by Sheikh Jasem Al Thani or by Sheikh Ali Al Thani which are both related to current Qatar Leader Sheilh Tamim Al Thani.

He kept telling me story that this was given to him by them when he was the minister of internal security in 1960~1970

He passed away in 2015 today I accumulated it and some of his belongings here in Qatar.

Someone did offer to buy it for 1100$ USD (4000 QR) which I don’t know where I stand and I really don’t know anything about it if someone can help me to know history about it?
