Out on a late afternoon stroll with my son to see some trains come and go, I see the main street closed off for a fair, food and music is in the air so we head on over to see what is for sale. The usual is out, some crochet made by locals, lemonade, some custom T shirts, you know how it goes. It is nothing too exciting to start but I see a tent with a guy and his family. He’s got a bunch of knives that look kinda cool so I come over and take a closer look and its a bunch of custom knives! Turns out this dude Dev is the maker and well it is close to fathers day so I get myself something nice to help break down all the paper boxes we go through each week, or maybe cut some fruit.
I love supporting local folks and this was an easy purchase – the blade feels solid. The handle is just right. Some handles are too small, some too big but this is just goldilocks and it feels good.

Anyway, happy early fathers day to the dads out there and keep at those boxes – gotta keep it neat and tidy.
