Sofirn sent me the new SC13 (in matte black) for free to review. They upgraded the emitter from the SST40 to a 519A (5000K). The 519a is such a better choice for this light. I haven’t had much time with it (just arrived, I’ll take more beam shots later).
The first this I tried was turbo: The old one got so hot so fast with the SST40, this is much, *much* better with the 519a. A much more reasonable amount of light and heat come off of this now.
Seems like the same UI, which is fine. The last photos of the colorful thing in my closet compares this model to my old one with the SST40.
I’ll post an update after I use it for a day or two with beam shots etc.
