I just started to edc an otf. I never liked autos before this, and I was wrong. As an old guy who only carried Spyderco’s, the one HUGE advantage is that I don’t have to change my grip to open, use and close my knife. With my old man shaking hands, this is a god send.

Nope I’m not John Wick and autos take all the fun out of knives.

Benchmade Claymore for work. Manual everywhere else

  4. No, and yes we can cary them. I like the fast one hand open and close. Not just the open.

I edc an Ultratech when I’m at work as a cop. I simply wanted something I could deploy with my fingers wrapped completely around it. It’s a last ditch tool in case I somehow fucked up with my better options

Other than that, I’m not a fan of autos because I often open knives only part way when I’m trying to cut something like my cuticles
