I think I would take the Scandi TOPS, if I’m seeing that correctly that is.

Edit: Just noticed all the details in the Op comment, whoops! Turns out I saw that right! šŸ™‚

Edit2: Whoah, now the nice comment with all the details is gone and I wanted to check out the others as well! šŸ™

    VI. Ontario RAT 3 in 1075. -$102.58
    – As fun as it would be to say something snarky about it and let the rage war commence- it really is an awesome blade for the outdoors. Iā€™ve probably carried it more than any other (fixed blade) and Iā€™m certainly more comfortable batoning with it than any of the other smaller ones. Iā€™m sure the Vanadis G3 would do fine, but I got the edgeā€¦ just right.

    V. Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter in S90V- $234
    – I almost forgot about this one, and it was PISSED- literally just bit me good taking it out of the sheath.

The blade does, in fact, take a VERY sharp edge.
Good skinner. Thatā€™s what itā€™s really built for. The scales arenā€™t grippy, but also donā€™t hold crud in them. The sheath is mediocre. The blade shape is too fat for my liking in normal use. Think of it like you cut the front half off of a thin, razor sharp 5ā€ drop point, and mounted scales on the back half of the blade. Perfect hunting (or backup hunting) knife, especially if youā€™re shedding carry weight.

IV. Bradford Guardian 3 in Vanadis 4E. ~$250?
    – This thing is a freaking LASER BEAM. I donā€™t know if itā€™s the grind, the blade steel, the heat treat, or (likely) the combination of all- the thing takes a sharper edge than anything else I have, including Benchmade S90V and ZT 20CV.

Awesome leather sheath, if you can still get them with leather. Itā€™s made for horizontal carry, but it sits in a front pocket perfect.

III. White River Small Game in S35VN- $160
    – This one is awesome. Micarta handle feels nice, and though itā€™s small diameter the length makes it fit nicely in your palm. Overall length is perfect to have the top of the blade peek out of a jeans pocket if you can still get the leather sheath, and it looks pretty unassuming if youā€™re around people. The blade takes a really good edge, but I did manage to chip out the edge of mine (being really rough on it). That is likely a one off.

Edit- looks like they make them in Magnacut now for $180.

II. TOPS Mini Scandi Survival in 1095- $170
    – Cool little knife. Really light and takes a good edge, but itā€™s expensive for what it is. I have zero problem with the knife, but I did lose the sheath for a few months and reached out to them about a replacement. I think they wanted $50 for another cheap, simple, kydex sheath that the blade rattles around in.

    I. Bradford Tanto in D2- $65.
    – Heavy for the size, but I donā€™t think you can bend or break one of these. I literally pry rocks out of the yard with it, and it doesnā€™t flex at all. Easy to put an edge back on it, as well. It also comes with a tiny fire steel and a perfect belt clip for the sheath.

I absolutely love carrying my hidden canyon! But that white river looks pretty sweet..

I have the White River. I also have a Guardian, but itā€™s a 3.5 in M390. Just picked up the Hidden Canyon for my dad. Out of those three, the Guardian is my favorite.

What is the name of the small one right in the middle?
