I seem to have watched a review that said you can lube the ring through the hole. Nyogel 767A is the grease of choice. I inspected the hole and I saw that there’s a “fork on the road” whose ends both lead to the same. I’m thinking of a blunt-tipped needle applicator bottle. However, I read in a forum that, to lube the ring properly, one needs to dismantle the entire head which would also require desoldering which I have zero knowledge of. I do not have the bezel removal tool either. Nothing wrong with the ring, actuation is smooth, but the subtle gritty feeling of metal-to-metal grinding is there. I’d like to mimic the feel of a camera lens ring, if that’s possible, so I have a damping grease on the way. Appreciate your insights.
