It works well, to my eyes it has normal brightness, but the led chip looks bad (it has raised edges, looks like it’s peeling off)

I’ve had some XHP50 and XHP70 emitters do the same. All have been used with TIRs that have the white holders, and I just assumed it was caused said holder twisting at the corners when tightened down. It doesn’t seem to cause any negative effects though, at least to my eyes.
The centering gasket pulled up the silicone, it happens on these LEDs pretty often
