The 2.15mm has the better focus and throws further, but the 1.7mm has a rather bright and nicely defined corona that gives it like a second hotspot, making the light more useful medium range. The hotspot pictures on the left are hotspot + corona, not hotspot + spill, btw. The L21B has a rather defined looking corona. The stock Convoy gaskets all kinda suck, pretty much have to make your own if you want this light to look good!
Thank you for posting. Are the settings on your camera fixed for the distance beamshots? The hotspot in the 2.15mm seems to be more intense, but it’s hard to tell for sure if the camera is auto-adjusting.
