This has happened to me a few times especially with Spyderco ethnic series knives. Sometimes I had to pay a big premium to acquire such a knife others I was lucky to find a good deal.

I dislike most post 2008 SOG knives when production was moved away from Japan and I dislike most assisted opening knives or heavy folding knives but this one spoke to me.

I’m a sucker for folding knives with swinging cross guards and it looks nice and opens super well. There’s actually a bigger version too the XL but I think it will be too heavy.

As much as I think I know I learn stuff all the time. I just barely realized Schrade made a Chris Reeves hollow handle fixed blade knife clone.

I like folding knives with swing guards and it opens up very well. There is an XL version of the SOG Quake as well but I think it will be too bulky and unwieldy.

As much as I think I know knives I learn new things all the time. I only recently realized Schrade made a clone of the Chris Reeves hollow handle fixed blade knives. I sort of want one.
