What can I do to get rid of this blue corrosion off my folding blade? Context: it’s been sitting in my car door pocket forever, it’s impossible to open even with great force so it’s basically stuck and idk if it has to do with the heat but if anyone can help me find a solution to this that would be appreciated.

Take it apart, basically. Hit all the bolts in the scales with penetrating oil and get it all apart, clean everything. Probably have to replace the washers with a bronze one instead. If the knife doesn’t have bolts to take it apart and is riveted, it’s probably not worth fixing.
Kinda looks like blue loctite. Definitely acting like it lol. Maybe try to hit the pivot area with a hammer/ mallet without damaging anything to try and loosen it up a bit. Should make disassembly easier
