Still one of the best small pocket knives you can possibly buy.

Ergonomics of Dragondude are amazing and you can get it in decent steels. Relatively expensive though

I have the saltwater version. I love it. Fits so nice in my hand.

Steel doesn’t get outdated

A knife is only as good as it’s edge

My favorite Spyderco family of knives: superb ergonomics, perfect fifth pocket size and a wide variety of steels and blade shapes. What’s not to like?

Whether it’s old or new doesn’t matter.
It’s extremely lightweight. You don’t feel it’s there. You could clip it to the bottom of your T-shirt and still forget about it. It’s not a good thing or a bad thing, it’s just a fact about this item.
The lock is great in my opinion. It’s very strong and it makes the knife very safe when closing because you can completely remove your hand from the blade’s path (not true for the common liner locks).
The knife is small. It’s very good for urban everyday tasks like opening packages, cutting cordage or paper, doing fine work like scratching something, back-up kitchen knife etc. It’s also great for stuff like hiking where your weight is super important while knife isn’t a necessity.
The knife is not the best choice for heavy duty stuff like doing car maintenance, gardening, bushcraft, survival, sailing, etc.

They don’t really go obsolete

Totally worth it. It’s still around for a reason

It’s Light and nice to carry, BUT the price I don’t know about anymore. If you like it you should get it that’s on you to decide.

I love the look of this knife and i know it’s small but was wondering if it’s maybe too small, would love to get one

It’s a lot of money for a vg10 blade and nylon scales.

I think the Japanese spydercos are a little overpriced, but they are great knives, and I think part of the cost you’re paying is for the excellent design. A Mini Bugout is better in just about every way, compared to a Dragonfly. Its also nearly double the price.

I own one and it’s one of my favorites.
Why do you need a knife?
