Another first for me, a soda-can mega flooder!
This is the Lumintop Mach ‘Exploration version’, a slightly downgraded variant of the regular Mach. Whilst the regular mach uses a 49500 battery and outputs 26k lumens, this puts out 20k and runs on a slightly smaller 46800 battery. On sale for roughly 85 dollars, it was hard to resist.
First off, props to lumintop for packaging, as they wrapped the box in 4 layers of bubble envelop, so there was no issue with the light arriving in one piece.
Next would be the wow factor of this light, some of you might already be used to this category of lights, but it’s a first for me, and man this thing is **huge**. With a battery installed, it weighs more than half a kilogram! It feels more like a weapon in the hand than a flashlight honestly.
One thing that led me to get this version was the raw aluminum finish, this plus the transparent plastic housing for the battery really makes it stand out from the rest of the pack.
And finally, output. Boy this thing puts out lumens like nobody’s business. As you can see from the beamshots (camera settings locked), the FC11C gives visibility, whereas the Mach feels like daylight in the palm of your hand. What’s more incredible is with the fan running, this sustains 6500 lumens for 2 hours, although I’d have to mention that the fan is really loud. All in all it makes for a killer (literally in some cases) combo of a light!
