Further backstory: Me and my late wife used to collect knives, usually getting the sane knife with slight differences. She also would have one of a kind custom folders made for me, and this specific one is very similar to one she had made for me. As our house was robbed in 2018, all of those knives in our collection were lost. I’ve made several posts about this tradition, but this one is a bit different. This knife reminds me of one of the folders she had custom made for me, so I git it not only to honor her memory, but as a way to cope with her loss.
As for the knife, it’s outrageously sharp with the high hollow ground blade, that gets super thin at the apex. After breaking it in a bit, and putting a grear lube on the bearings, it opens and closes like butter, even with the pivot fully snug.
