I was gifted a fairly old Cold Steel Master Hunter and I’m trying to figure out what steel it is in. It’s not printed on the blade as you can see like the less old versions. Anyone happen to know what it is?

- F style Hunter with ADS damascus blade and matching bolsters. Mammoth ivory for scales. Ti screws and a cool pivot pin. The sheath is tooled leather with a very soft pig skin lining. OAL is 9 inches and the blade is 4 1/8

it’s most likely SK5 steel. it could be 8cr13mov stainless as well.
