I got this knife from a knife maker at the local farmer’s market here in the Ft. Worth TX area. Paid about $90 for it and the leather sheath. The spine is 4.25″ long, and the handle is about 4.35″ long. Weight is 8.96oz (254 grams) according to my kitchen scale. Materials are Damascus (obviously) and buffalo bone handle.
I’ve been getting more into knives recently thanks to balisongs, and seeing the price for hand made knives…I’ve got my doubts that, for $90, the people I got it from were truly knife *makers* and more like “Resellers of really nice looking knives”. It’s been a couple years since I got it, and I can’t remember the company name. It was something like “Fort worth artistry” or “Fort Worth artist knives”, but searches don’t yield the website I remember looking up after I got it.
Even if it’s some import from Aliexpress or some other Chinese site, I still really love this knife. I’m just a nerd who likes to know about my stuff.
