Here are most of the small edc lights I rotate through. I don’t love any of them. Every one has an issue with size, UI, beam, cri, or charging. The closest to perfect is the Sofirn SC32 HCRI, if only there was a 14500 version.

You could try an Emisar D3AA, and use the Acebeam 14500 USB-C battery in the light.
Skilhunt e2a is high cri and taillight activated. It’s tiny too
