    From left to right:

    – Lorier Astra on a Barton silicone band
    – Reylight Brass Pineapple
    – Great Eastern Cutlery #92 in green micarta
    – LT Wright Frontier First with O1 steel and green micarta

Fall is officially in full swing and with the change in temperatures (and amount of daylight) comes the return of some old favorites into the rotation. While the Pineapple is usually always on me, this #92 from 2019 was actually the first GEC I ever picked up. While it isn’t the strongest slipjoint, it’s a dream to carry and the walk and talk has become butter smooth over time; easily one of the best fidget factors in my collection. It’s wild to think that there was a time when inventory for their knives actually lasted longer than a few minutes, but sadly those days are long gone. I’m always one for a fixed blade/slipjoint combo, so the newly added Frontier First from LT Wright fits right here. Here’s to pumpkin beers and horror movie marathons!
