    It’s a knife. Ideally it should be able to cut things. If it can do that you’re doing fine.

    I think it’s fine. 8cr13mov is not an amazing steel but not bad for the price and while it dulls on that faster side it’s easy to resharpen. It’s not too big or small imo and as it’s a fixed blade it has no lock or pivot to fail so you can really bang it around. Cleaver style means no point but that’s not the end of the world and nothing to break off. Is it an amazing knife? No. Does it cut/slice and not hurt your hand when using it? If so I think it’s a solid budget choice and looks nice too imo. Enjoy it.

    Personally I prefer a sharp tip to jab into packaging but that’s me. A pocket knife is unique to the user.
