Advice

Hello chaps, just joined as I needed some advice. I recently was arrested and investigated after a lady was assaulted in the woods I walk my dog through every day (some times 3 times a day)
This has all been proven false and the police have contacted me to say I’m not under suspicion etc.
My issue is, when I was arrested they came in to my house to search for clothes the actual guy was wearing. During this search they went through boxes and my camping stuff and took my 2 camp knives, my kukri (used to clear brush and stuff) and a tomahawk I owned as I am part of an axe throwing league in Wembley box park BadAxe throwing.
They are now saying I may not get any of these back! My question is to you chaps is there any advice you have? They where not on display, brandished or ever used in illegal actions. Furthermore they where all purchased in the UK through legal sellers and are all still on sale. The police literally had to go looking through stored boxes and bags to find them.
The 2 knives especially are important as they where both gifts from friends who up until covid I used to camp with regularly each year.
