Up late one night i happened across this nitecore EDC25
on sale for $50, so i said what the hell, it looks like a pretty decent light. Im really interested in what the “flat” profile will be like to edc.
I have never heard of the brand and wasn’t sure if it’s like a cheap china light.
I say im semi-new because it has been about 9 years with my trusty Led lenser P5r, and it’s still going strong but the specs aren’t at all comparable to todays lights at 420 lumens.
But after getting this EDC25 tonight and messing with it and getting familiar with the buttons, i’m sold on this thing. I really hope this thing is as solid as it feels because dumb me didn’t get the $3 protection plan 🤦🏻‍♂️
I haven’t had a chance to actually carry it yet so i’m interested in how that will be but i think i may have found my new EDC.
What’s the general consensus on this brand and this line of lights? Now i’m seeing the EDC29 at 6500 lumens!? I may have a problem after this endeavor…

This is a solid brand and flashlight. Was thinking of getting one myself but Im trying to slow down on buying “just one more flashlight”. As for the protection plan, don’t need to get one as the actual nitecore company themselves give you warranty anyhow, I’ve contacted them before and had good results.
