it’s worth the money, but nothing special. Very soft steel in my opinion.

I’ve had a few leatherman multitools and the worst part about them was always the knife imo. I can’t imagine their knife only models being much better

  4. I own one, but never use it. Very small. Too small to be useful for me.

I don’t like multi blades and skeletool knives always remind me of gas station MTech and so on.

If you like it for some reason get it because you like it. But I wouldn’t buy it as if it’s better than an other option

It’s a hiking/edc knife for me. Don’t plan to fight orcs with it or split wood.

A multitool is a series of compromises that, when combined into a neat little package, affords tons of practical utility. With this, you’re getting the same compromise without the additional utility. I just don’t see a reason to go for this instead of either a Skeletool or a nicer dedicated knife.

But it will cut and that’s what knives are for, so it’s still ‘good’.

I’ve been carrying a SkeletoolCX for over ten years. I gave one to my son for Christmas three years ago and he still carries his Skeletool. This is a great EDC blade that’s easy to open with one hand. If you’re a weekend warrior and decimator of envelopes and Amazon boxes like me, this is a good choice for a carry blade.
