Shitty actions. 50/50 if it’s centered. Either flickable with blade play or too tight with no blade play, prices are crazy, coatings are lightly applied. I can go on and on.

Trash tier company. Wouldn’t be so bad if they would sell parts but their springs are the worst. This knife was bought new in JUNE 24. I have Kizers they I do nothing but flick open and closed all day at work just to fidget with them and never had a spring snap. This is the second broken Benchmade I have seen.

Fight me idc you spend $180 on a bugout🤣🤣🤣

The fuck did you do to that knife since June. Looks like a you problem not a Benchmade problem. I have so many BM I’ve used hard for decades. No problems at all and none that look like that. Never had an issue with a spring or the blade being off centered.

Wow bold take but then again no one eats hydrox cookies

  3. I don’t think anyone is gonna fight you.

My custom shop mini Crooked River effectively broke while sitting in a box.

I’m not a big fan of Benchmade myself. But, I’m not sure it makes much sense to attempt to make fun of folks for buying a 180$ Bugout. Not when you yourself are showing what I am guessing is a 300$+ Adamas that looks like it was dropped out of a plane into an industrial metal shredder and then stored in the sand on the Black Sea.

This post is semi serious yall. Benchmade is 3/3 at being shit in my experience

But don’t take it too hard I mostly knew the Benchmade bois would bring me entertainment with this one

  6. Using a single sample to judge a high volume supplier may not be a robust methodology.

I did have to replace both Omega springs on my bugout ¯_(ツ)_/¯. The axis lock was their claim to fame until recently and it broke. Their quality isn’t worth the price anymore for sure

  8. I bet they’d be thrilled to service this in a warranty claim, if they refuse, you get more ammo to trash them, if not well, a refurbished knife.

At least it is made in USA. Support US folks.

I definitely second that benchmade is overpriced for the QC they offer, also not even remotely the first time I’ve seen omega springs breaking. Check out the spring in the anthem though, they actually managed to use a real coil spring instead of thin music wire. Seems more robust to me.

Benchmade is just a brand name. It’s overpriced normal knives.

Sucks that you had those experiences. I’m a benchmade fanboy and never broke a spring. The only thing I disagree with are the 710s and the narrows prices. Owned benchmades since 2008
