So I innocently stumbled onto this sub not too long ago…and after some great responses to my first post, I thought I would get a modern, high CRI headlamp. Well…after ordering and cancelling about 5 different lamps, I settled on the Zebra. I liked everything except for the price, and the fact that I had to buy batteries and a charger. I decided to go for the floody model…but stupid me ordered the flood model – H604d. I was going to send it back, but I loved it… I still wanted a headlamp for hiking and such with better throw, so I got the H600d. Then I started thinking, surely someone has created a double light holder. It turns out that u/spicy3d created one, but I literally found his going out business post a day too late. Since he was awesome enough to make the 3d print model free, I turned to Reddit again (r/3Dprintmything) and found a guy in TX to print it. I had to buy a Skillhunt headband for it, too, so I bought that as well. Everything arrived today and I love it. I went headfirst into the rabbit hole and came out happy on the other side. My first time out with it, I spotted 3 barred owls about 60 yards away up in a tree from their glowing eyes. Cool stuff!
Glad I found you guys…just don’t tell my wife how much my trip to Wonderland cost!
