Looking back at some of my earliest knives when I knew nothing about nothing. While I’m still in budget territory, I know what I like now and it can be had a decent price.
These are my high end of gas station knives IMO. Crappy action, assisted to compensate for the crap action. Crappy steel. But for some reason I feel love for the one on the right.
Any thoughts on your knife journey?

I, too, got a Flatiron very early into my knife collecting.
