Awesome! I’ve never done a forced patina under the handle scales before.

How many years did you have to leave it in the lake?

I love the 80 year old scuttled metal boat look. Well done.

Even got a little forced serration towards the tip of the blade. A individual of style and sensibility I see 🙂

Came here just to make sure it was a joke. Sadly, I cannot tell sometimes.

  10. There’s patina, and then there’s rust…

This looks saved from the titanic

Not my style bro, but if you like it, who cares what we think. It’s like the other day I put on a dress shirt that had gotten a bit too tight. I mentioned the dryer shrunk it… my kid say it looks like the refrigerator shrunk it. It’s all a matter of perspective.

    Bowie of the Lake.

+1 blunt damage, +4 poison damage

I tried to force a patina on a new brass lighter. The flint wheel seized up ruining the lighter. To get it repaired would have cost more in shipping than I paid for the lighter, so I purchased another. $80 bucks later, I let it patina in the pocket.

  14. I think you may have gone a little heavy on the patina…I definitely think it took.

You should leave it in vinegar mixed with hydrogen peroxide and saline solution for the best results

Nice job. Looks exactly like a Look-what-I-found-in-my-grandpas-barn knives.

I really love subhilts, clip points, and S guards. This knife looks awesome.
    Who made this knife originally?
