Liam Hoffman 19″ Saddle Axe
I actually won this feller about a year ago and it just arrived.
So far I am over the moon with its performance. Perfect size for what I want it for and the balance is fantastic. One end splits like a champ and the other bites like a devil… I’ve even been really impressed with how it works for carving but I only briefly tested that out as it’s way too damn cold outside right now.
Edit: also I am in love with the octagonal handle. I liked the look of it but honestly worried if it might be a comfort issue… nope, super comfortable and totally eliminates any rolling in my hand yet doesn’t create hot spots.

Liam has got to be one of the best axe makers in the business. If I had the money and patience I would totally get one of his axes. Congrats and enjoy your new tool
