Hogue Deka and Spyderco Para 3 LW. I actually prefer both of those to the Bugout. Benchmade has a new really slim knife, but it’s a bit bigger.

Kershaw, they have a USA made line with premium steels and materials, for half the price of most benchmades. You can go on r/knifeswap and find a 20cv link consistently for 45~60$.

  3. I second Hogue Deka.

I recommend the Kizer Drop Bear, smoother action and similar form. Kizer Escort if you want something a little larger.

TRM Atom or Neutron. A bit taller but super slim and light

  5. Techyness

Kershaw leek but the random leek has a better blade

  6. WhhiteStallion

The Kizer Drop Bear is so smooth and perfect out the box. Bugout killer

  7. RossinTheBobs

Quietcarry Drift is pretty slim, and surprisingly light for being full Ti

  8. Check out Kershaw Iridium. I just learned about it the other day.

I really like the rat 2, or the baby banter for light carry with good geometry. Protech runt 5 is also a favorite of mine for a light everyday carry

Look at the Spyderco Delica or Endura. Thin, sharp, highly useful.

Montery Bay Knives EZC is very slim and easy-to-carry is in the name. Comes in 3″ and 3.5″ blade. It’s a different blade profile than the Bugout though, if that matters. Also not especially cheap.

Nice! Love mine, wearing it now. It’s my “pajama/ around the house” knife.

    The 945 (Mini-Osborne) is a tiny knife

Both CJRB Pyrite and Kizer Drop Bear are good enough.

The 940 is slimmer and feels better in the pocket than the bugout, I have the 940-1 and it’s super light lighter than both my 535bk-4 and custom bugout with AWT scales but a bit heavier than my 535-3 and my bugout with grivory, id imagine the regular 940 is a bit more and close to my bailout with aluminum scales, either way the weight between all of them is so close, hard to tell the difference between 0.2oz type thing

  16. Take a look at the Acta non verba A100. Slim, light and pretty good lookin in my opinion.

Man I’ve owned and swapped at least a hundred knives over the years and including some pretty pricey safe queens but the one knife I can never seem to move out of my EDC rotation is my Spyderco Para3.

  18. I owned the bug out for a short and yes, it was super thin. In comparison there are quite a few knives just as thin.

    TRM atom & neutron

    Spydiechef

    Quiet Carry waypoint & drifter

    3″ xm-18

    Oz Roosevelt

    Gareth Bull Shamwari 3″

And believe it of not the Grimsmo Norseman and Rask are extremely thin too, also extremely expensive like the last two in the list.

Quiet Cary drift and waypoint are pretty slim. And rust proof if that matters lol
