   Makes me sad seeing these. I had a big crown royal bag filled with antique case xx and stuff like that at my dad’s house. Some asshole stole it about ten years ago.

   I like traditional folders too. Of my collection of over 100 knives, most are folders…many Case, Hen & Rooster, Queen, Canal St Cuttlery, Boker, Buck, Schrade, I could go on all night.

   I thought lots of people here like traditionals. At least I do. I also have some GEC, some Case, Northwoods, etc.

   I like GECs, but they’re such a mess with collectors and scalpers trying to scoop them up. Makes it difficult for someone like me that just wants one or two particular knives. I got one GEC and decided it’s good enough for me. If I happen to come across one that I like I’ll scoop it up, but I’m not holding my breath for anything.

   I just got my first traditional last week. A case. It’s both nicer and less nice than I thought it’d be which is weird lol. I do want another I think. I also want a gec beer and sausage knife quite badly

   Not my thing but I’m glad you guys enjoy them.

   I’m not going to knock the guy drinking a bourbon if it’s not for me.

   Nice part about the hobby. Like sipping a scotch, some nice things aren’t for everyone. And tastes can change. It’s nice we have choices and options.

   I love the look and thin blade stock of most traditionals but I hate having to use 2 hands to open them and the lack of locking mechanism or pocket clip.
