Was unsure about how to feel about this little guy, but it sure has gotten me out of a couple jams. Just wish I had an easier way to carry.

Gerber Shard
Got it free when I ordered my Benchmade 535BK-4 from Blade HQ.
I carried one for a bit but it kept poking me
I keep mine on my keychain. It’s an essential part of my edc!
Keychain for me
I love the shard, I’ve had one on my keychain the last 10 years. I would recommend carrying it on a LuckyLine flex-o-lock [https://luckyline.com/products/flex-o-loc](https://luckyline.com/products/flex-o-loc) or similar product (you can get one for ~$3 in many hardware stores or Amazon).
The larger diameter and flexibility vs. a split ring lets the shard disappear into the keychain and makes it *much* easier to take on and off.
Had the mullet on me for a while
I have 3 keys on my keychain, so they kind of fill in the space the curvature of Shard makes. I am carrying it in the small fifth pocket of my jeans, it fits well. There were alternatives for Shard I was thinking of, like Leatherman Brewzer or Nite Ize Doohickey, but none of them has as many functions as Gerber Shard does. Plus I love its appearance more.
I’ve had one on my keychain for at least 4 years I believe and it’s quite useful but if it’s oriented wrong in my pocket I can feel it .
I have one and it dangles from a clip on my belt loop with my keys.
Works great but every once in a while it pokes me in the ass when I sit down.
I used to have one & it’d attack me from within my pocket, excellent little tool….. but I’m sure it hated me 😂
I’ve had one of these since they first released and I still use it every day. Got me through military too. Probably the only good/ best gerber product i’ve ever had by far.
I used mine so much I wore the finish off. Never liked the angle and the fact that it didn’t have a clip so I bought a LynchNW.
Great tool but after a year of EDC I just got sick of stabbing myself with the Sharp screw driver end.
Fantastic little Keychain tool. I have a long lanyard for a Keychain where it fits beautifully.
