I’ve had multiple Leatherman Skeletools… They always break… I really don’t think the are meant to work hard.. I went through 4 of them, and they all break at the base of the knife and the left jaw snapped off. So I figured it’s time I make my own stronger multitool. This is made from 304 stainless that I had send cut send cut out and I Tig welded it all together. The jaws and the cutting portion of the knife I added A2 steel filler (from blue demon, stuff really works). So far it works good, just gotta keep testing it.

How much did the materials cost?

Is that a trendy, non locking, Japanese Higo knife? If so upgrade immediately, don’t even use it.

That’s awesome. I have made lots of sketches for my ideal compact bit drivers, but never put it into reality. Some company is going to steal your design.
