The knife is great. I’ve owned a lot of Benchmades, and I think this is the highest quality overall of the bunch. My first axis auto, I like the deployment better than I was afraid I might. Also, more convenient for any lefties out there.

Slim and light, right at 3 ounces on my scale.  It fires out hard, but not so hard as to jump out of your hand. This is the later model with darker bolsters, I know the earlier models weren’t as snappy. No blade play, this thing locks up rock solid. The carbon fiber looks amazing, and the anodized aluminum contrasts well with it. In pictures, I thought the earlier silver aluminum bolsters looked better, but now I love the anodization in person, it fits the black finish of the rest of the knife.

Fits nicely in the pocket, being so slim. The smooth finish of the carbon fiber provides good grip, but without tugging on the pocket too much. DLC finish looks great, and the blade is perfectly centered and out of the box sharp (I have slightly less arm hair now). The spine safety is nice and low profile, and clicks tactilingly satisfying into place. Slightly stiff, but will probably break in.

Overall, I can’t recommend it enough if you like stilettos and live somewhere they are legal. And of course, you have deep pockets (literally, considering how long it is). These sell for nearly $400, and come up used rarely. 10/10 on quality, 7/10 on value.

Shoutout to u/IndianaKnives for answering my questions and shipping super fast! Definitely recommend the seller.
