Was cleaning out the tools and found an oldie I thought I’d share.
It was from a company called EDGETAC and called the “Raidfire Spear”. This was an early preproduction model for a exclusive run that fell apart but I still got a sample I held onto. Haven’t seen it in 15 or so years.
From what I remember:
– it had a Cree Q5 emitter during the Cree revolution
– was one of the first 18650 of its kind
– I believe one of the longest non custom throw LED lights at the time it was introduced.
– later production editions ditched the overly graphic’d body and added an orange peel reflector (I believe)
– the “strong light” graphic was something of a pain point.
It was a big one, definitely extra material to go around! Next to an 18650 for scale it is giant compared to present day offerings.
Probably make a great host for a mod though.
