   Honestly about the peak of what a bugout is worth anyways.

   Issue is Bugouts are probably the single most cloned knife out there, so buying one from anything other than a trusted retailer is a gamble unless you can confirm its real.

   Sure then also buy the $17 clone and compare to see why you spend all that extra money. Spoiler alert, you will not see where it went.

   Luckily you got an authentic one and if it’s in new condition it’s a steal given that retail is at $170! Like pystawwf was saying though, the stock grivory model is extremely overpriced. Since you saved so much money you should look into some aftermarket scales 🤷‍♂️

   Ali.x got my clone for $11 to see what the big deal is. Nice little knife, great one hand open close and very light in the pocket. Carried it one day and then gifted it to a friend at work. Went back to my Para 3 and Manix 2

   Can’t tell if it’s legit from these photos, as others have stated there are <$20 clones in this color, and the employee at the pawn shop may not know the difference. If you are considering the clone, the FRN version is as flimsy as benchmade’s, so I’d recommend the titanium, brass, or carbon fiber for ~$40. There is even a clone with what looks like flytanium scales for a bit more.

   Well that would be about right price for something like bugout. Compared to what it is normally priced at it is good deal. Assuming it is not clone .
