Hear me out… Ikea “Jansjö” flexible-neck USB lamp, claimed 10lm and 3000K. Would you use this indoors during power outages to conserve batteries (disposables/rechargeables)?

Pretty cool little gadget, not gonna lie. Might not be a bad idea if you’ve got a few powerbanks around.

Trouble is – contraptions like this tend to use horribly inefficient ways to drive LEDs. So conserving batteries with it might be questionable – a flashlight with efficient driver will likely have much better runtime at the same brightness using the same battery.
Though i do not know how efficient is specific light – might be a fun thing to test.
