I created this knife slip for myself. It’s the 3rd version. Gradually making changes and improvements along the way.

My third iteration of a knife slip. I have used Nicks work leather for all 3 versions. So it’s thick and beefy! Should last forever!

Every time I make something new, I always learn so many things. Lol. I really need an edge beveler. I REALLY need to mark my stitch lines before I start punching holes. Live and learn, and grow my skill with every item I make.

V1 was made specifically for my PM2. I’ve since changed scales and clip. So it was no longer a perfect fit. Plus, I found having the pivot portion of the blade open to the elements was not a good idea. Sand and dirt were constantly getting in there.

V2 was made as a general slip. For multiple knives. Not just 1 specific knife. I addressed the issue of the end being opened. But I quickly learned that I missed the horizontal carry. Before the first day was over with the V2,I knew I already wanted to go back to horizontal carry.

V3. The perfect blend of all 3. This can fit all my folders. Even the Manix 2 and Kizer Sheepdog. Which would not fit in V2. The end remains closed to the elements. And back to horizontal carry.
