Finally got a “replacement” for the Ka-Bar that I had lost. My original one I carried every patrol when I was in Iraq ‘05-‘06.

- F style Hunter with ADS damascus blade and matching bolsters. Mammoth ivory for scales. Ti screws and a cool pivot pin. The sheath is tooled leather with a very soft pig skin lining. OAL is 9 inches and the blade is 4 1/8

What kinds of things did people actually use them for over there? I’m always curious to hear how knives are useful as military gear.
