I used to have this amazing flashlight. I bought it new around 2015-2016. I think it was $350-400 at the time. It had a fairly large rechargeable battery pack that clipped to a belt. It had a beefy handle on top. At the time, it was one of the brightest LED flashlights and it could light up a house from down the street. The case was a nice briefcase style case with cut foam for the flashlight, battery, and accessories, made of some light metal. I thought it had a model number that started with X. This was a big, bright light and I bought it as an outdoor flood during power outages. Any ideas what brand and model it could be? I can’t find anything with a pack like this. The pack was charged with a USB wall charger. I drew this on my phone to give you a visual.

There are options just as good and better these days for cheaper too

  3. Are you trying to find out what you bought back then?

Or are you just trying to buy something equally powerful, or more powerful?

Your drawing reminded me of Streamlight’s LiteBox. Maybe start there. I didn’t remember that having a hard case. Pelican also sold a light similar to the LiteBox, and that one came in a hard case.

  5. Someone just mentioned them the other day. Referenced them being used in the movie Jurassic Park
